What are we actually debating about ? Is this the only Issue left in the country ? Ok I agree that many people doesn't like the idea of Cheerleader, then my humble request to all of them is please don't watch them, its as simple as that. I read a very good blog on the same by Amrita Triptahi. Read it here
Yesterday Bal Thakrey went to the extent of saying that the Cheerleaders are turning the cricket stadium into a "Dance Bar" Well Mr Thakrey I don't think so, probably you have gone to a number of such places in Mumbai that is why you are sounding so desperate after the dance bars closed that you are seeing them everywhere. Sometimes these Netas go to any extent, and you never know they are the ones who is enjoying seeing them in short skirts. But I personally doesnt see an issue with the attire as well. If people are okay with Kareena Kapoor wearing a Bikini in Tashan, Aishwarya Rai wearing a swimsuit in Miss world (who actually made India proud according to the then Prime Minister), then why do these people have an Issue with some group of girls wearing short skirt. Bal Thakrey is an exception, that old fellow anyways doesnt have any work, but what came as a shock to me is Mr Venkaiah Naidu standing outside the Parliament holding a Newspaper with Cheerleaders photograph and shouting out in the Media that this is indecent. Mr Naidu if you have forgotten your duties I want to remind you that as one of the leaders of opposition you are supposed to shout on much more meaningful debates and not this, but it seems the opposition is busy wasting the Tax Payer's money.
Neta: Please get involved in more constructive activities, at least prove that you are not doing a time pass in the parliament.
