Trip to Pondicherry

Its been quite sometime since we (Rathi Chota and Me) went to Pondicherry! well to be precise it was mid march. Everybody told us that it would be too hot there humare kuchh shubhchintakon ne to ye bhi kaha ki bhaiya bore ho jhaoge ....par nahi hum kahan sunne waale the hum bhi tiger the!!! Anyways that was a long weekend and we all started we were excited, well we here means Rathi and Me , chota was not interested , I guess because he just returned from Israel.

We drove to Pondi, it was a lovely drive, the roads deserted or maybe it was night thats why we felt that the roads are deserted! we reached there checked into a French heritage Hotel, the room was too good, and we all just fell on bed.But I still don't know why Rathi was so tired...or maybe it was just usual for him! oh I forgot to mention the fada faadi of bread and cheese spread by me and Tarun (Chota)....Woke at around 12:30 in the afternoon , thought that now we would roam and go out for a nice time. As soon as I stepped out of my room ....Gaaaaaawwwwwddddd it was damn too hot! well anyways "ab okhli main sar diya to musal se kya ghabrana" Saw Aurobindo Ashsram

Aurobindo Ashram:

It was too good a place, quiet where you can sit for hours thinking and meditating, there were some people meditating but somehow I never felt like sitting there probably we were in the mood of "Masti" so we katoed there in about half an hour. But it is a nice place for anybody who is interested in meditating, or like the writings of Shri Aurobindo.

We tried to go to a couple of beached but it was too hot so we couldn't enjoy there, the only place I liked in Pondi was Hotel Ashoka's Cafeteria, it was very relaxing just sit there for hours and think about...................nothing in particular, but somehow we were not able to spend much time there and soon we were on our way back to the Pondi city

We got bored quickly...and then there was a brain storming session where we should go...and finally the suggestion came from Chota that probably we should head back to Bangalore...and we did exactly advised by Mr Tarun Rajput!!!!

So this was the jist of our Pondi trip, it is a good place but if you want to just sit and laze around, don't expect the Goa wala enthusiasm there.

But still I feel maybe I will visit Pondicherry one more time some other month when it is relatively cooler there!
